It has been a while since I got on here. It has been a roller coaster of craziness. To those who are following me thru this new adventure let me say thank you so much for all of your support!

Now let me talk a little bit about the add on that was tested on Saturday the 10th. This add is for the standing target and can take your target from one to three in a matter of seconds...

This is a great add for the intermediate shooter and above, as you can see from the bellow image if you want to expand the life span of you target stand I do not recommend adding this to your target. If your gun is not sighted in or you are a novice shooter (like myself) you will end up with a Swiss cheese target stand, still usable but a little holey...

I took this apart at the rand and brought it home, after about 3 minutes of looking over the parts I move the upper right arm to the lower left leg and now it is all set. This entire target system can still convert and is able to be used for many more years.

I might have to replace a few parts in a year or so but by then I will not be a novice, and my gun will be sighted in and hitting paper every time meaning that I will buy the replacements and not have to replace anything again.

I have been asked and told many times "Why not just buy the steel base and put a 2 X 4 on it and staple the target to that?" I have been thinking about that a lot...

My answer is that over time that wood will rot out, rain weather, shooting, and just about everything will effect the wood. You get a more dramatic expansion and contraction in the cold and heat, and you will still need to replace it after a few times out shooting. The aluminum can take a hit, although I recommend not shooting it, it can take its punches and still stand and function properly. Once your shooting an intermediate level you wont be hitting the frame so you will never have to replace anything as it is aluminum and will not rust out, the weather wont ruin it.

There is also the weight and storage of the steel welded target bases, they are heavily built and that is good for certain things but when you are building a wood target it tends to need to be put together before you get out to the range and that will take up space, not just in the vehicle but when you bring it back home...are you going to take out the nails or screws and store it away? I know I wouldn't... The aluminum targets need one L-Wrench to put it together and take it apart... it stores away and you wont have to worry about a thing until the next time you go shooting...

I am going to end here as I need to go pick up a sick kiddo from school... till next time y'all.
